Easy to install : B and K Industries 103-501RP Flowlock Hose Valve Lock
I live in a condo community and sometimes I have neighbors and Hoa workers who think they are entitled to our exterior water faucet and all it's goodness. This is one of the bains of my existence. Our water business promotes water conservation by over charging and so we have become water conservationists as well. We use double bricks in all our toilets, fixed all drips in our house, installed aerators on faucets, installed shower heads that conserve and try well hard when washing dishes to no over use water. In essence we work hard on water conservation. Our water costs lots of money. Over a hundred a month. So when things happen like our neighbors hiring a steam cleaning business that attaches it's car up to our water source out doors and steam cleans their house in it's two floor entirety at our cost - needless to say, it well ticks me off. This is about money. A straightforward "Sorry" doesn't cut it. I've even caught workers who were repaving the pavement for all 150 condo's use our water provide to rinse the entire street with our water and all I get for calling up my nerves and letting them know that water isn't free is "What do you want lady? A nickel". Ok so I'm fuming. I'm turning into That lady. A crazy woman. You probably would be too. Crazy. Not so much a women obviously.
So to put an end to the unpleasant raising of my blood pressure I ordered this item. This lock has solved my problem. I lock it and I have the key. The water can be turned on but you cannot procure much and well can not hook up a hose to the water source. Yay. I'm good. Now if only the gardner would stop trying to give my willow tree a haircut while I'm trying to take a shower I would never have to run exterior in a towel screaming like a mad woman...
